JDF

In the Job Definition Format (JDF) section, you can create JDF files in addition to the output file.

JDF is an industry standard designed to simplify information exchange between different applications and systems in and around the Graphic Arts Industry. JDF authoring is implemented to match the JDF dialect used with Xerox FreeFlow machines.

The JDF file is compatible with the Xerox FreeFlow JDF conventions, and can be submitted to the FreeFlow Print Manager and FreeFlow Process Manager.

     Create JDF: Enable JDF production.

     Copy To: Specify a predefined network path, to which a produced JDF file will be sent.

     Finishing: Set up finishing options.

     Customer Information: Type the customer's information.

When the production process is complete, a new link labeled Download JDF appears at the JDF section of the processed job in the Run Center page. Click this link to open the JDF file or to save it to another location.
