Sharing your projects

Sharing your project is an easy and quick way of collaborating on a project.

You can share your project with other project participants by either giving them a project URL or sharing its flow as an image.

Users with administrator permissions can share projects by sending copies of the project or by publishing projects to samples. Administrators can also invite users to collaborate on a project.

Share the project as an image

Sharing the project flow as an image is a convenient way of collaborating with people or advisors who do not have access to Circle but whose feedback might be important for project creation. It can also be useful to include the project flow image in presentations, proposals and agreements.

To share the project as an image:

  1. Open the project you want to save as an image.

  2. Select File>Share then click Save as Image.

The  Save As window is displayed.

  3. Type a name for the image and click Save.

Your project is now saved as a PNG graphic file.

Share the project's URL

Sharing the project URL allows globally dispersed teams and organizations to collaborate in a secure environment.

To share the project's URL:

  1. Open the project flow you want to share.

  2. Select File>Share, then click Copy link To Clipboard.

  3. Paste the link, for example, into an email message, and send to the relevant collaborators.

The link is accessible to collaborators who are authorized to view the project.

Invite a user to a project

Circle is a collaborative application in which multiple users can participate in the design, development, review, testing, live monitoring and analysis of the Project. To ensure an efficient collaboration, the application allows existing Circle users to invite new users to review a specific project.

Note: Only Administrators and Power Users can invite users to collaborate on a project in the roles of Builder, Planner and Power User.

To invite a user to a project:

  1. Open the project to which you want to invite a collaborator.

  2. ClickFile>Invite.

The Invite window is displayed. The project and account fields display the name of the project and of the account, respectively.

  3. Type the email address of the user you want to invite in theTofield.

You can see the names and emails of other users in the account.

  4. In the Roles field, specify the user role you wish to assign to the invited user.

The roles that you are allowed to assign depends on your user role. Administrators and power users can assign all roles to the invited user. Builders, planners and reviewers can assign only the reviewer role.

  5. Optionally, edit the invitation message.

  6. Click Send Invitation.

The email is sent to the invited user with a link to:

    • Circle's Registration page (new users)

    • Log in page (existing users)

The user can then sign in to Circle and display the specified project.
