Configuring the proxy server settings

uProduce can use a proxy server to communicate with the web. Communication via a proxy server may be required by some organizations.

  1. Log in to uProduce as an administrator.

  2. In the Settings page, go to the Settings list and select Proxy Server.

  3. uProduce needs both HTTP and HTTPS external access. If your organization requires a proxy for either HTTP or HTTPS, select the required option.

Once you select one of the options, the configuration fields become enabled.

  4. Enter the proxy server IP address or host name in the Server Address field.

  5. Specify the Port. By default, an HTTP proxy server uses port 80 and an HTTPS proxy server uses port 443.

  6. If the proxy server requires authentication, fill in the proxy User Name and Password.

  7. Click Test to verify the connectivity of uProduce via the proxy settings.

  8. Click Save to save the defined proxy settings.
