Summary: Disaster Recovery (DR) is the act of recovering a software system after the occurrence of an unforeseen event that could severely impact the software’s ability to operate effectively, thus affecting the business. Whilst there are three stages of disaster recovery, this article discusses only corrective measures. Preventative and detective measures are outside the scope of this document.
Audience: XMPie employees, channel staff and customers involved in the disaster recovery planning of XMPie installations. The article aims at answering questions about the setup of DR and presents any special actions that should be made.
