Saving a Local Static Document to a Circle Touchpoint
Use the following procedure to link a static document to a plan and master list of a Circle project.
Prerequisite: A data source and a plan file already exist in Circle.
To save a local static document to a Circle touchpoint:

From the Dynamic Content menu, select Save to Server.
The Server Connection dialog is displayed.

Fill in the username and password required to connect to Circle.

Click OK.
The Save on XMPie Server window is displayed.

From the Circle Account list, select the Circle account.

From the Type list, select project, template or instance of template.
Templates and instances are created in Circle. Circle has, in addition to the project option, new types of projects that are called templates and instances.

From the 2G Project list, select the required project.

From the Touchpoint list, select the touchpoint.

The document field displays the name of the document that is currently being saved. You can rename the document. If a document with the same name already exists on Circle, a warning icon
is displayed next to the document field. If you save this document, the Circle document will be overwritten. If you do not wish to overwrite the document, enter a different name in the document field.

The Format field displays Adobe InDesign (.indd) format by default. You can also choose to save the document in the XLIM (.indx) format.

In the Fonts field, select one of the following options:

Upload New Only: select this option to upload the Fonts used in the current document. This is the default option.

Don’t Upload: select this option if you do not want to upload the Fonts used in the current document.

The Link to Components (static document) section displays the plan file to which you are connecting and the recipient data source, recipients table and additional data sources, as defined in the master List.

Click Save. The Save Document to Circle window is displayed showing you the operation progress.
