Working with Templates
Templates offer a list of standard, commonly used QLingo functions and command structures that you can insert into an Expression window, and then fill with data. The templates provide a quick and effortless way to define expressions.
When you define expressions in an Expression window, you can use any of the predefined QLingo commands that are available from the menu categories.
To use templates:
-
Select the Expression > QLingo Templates menu item. The list of template categories is displayed.
-
Select the desired category and construct. Available categories are: Control, Numeric, Date, String, Conversion, GetEnv, Asset, Circle, User View, and Misc. The construct is added to the active Expression window.
Note that this menu item is only available when an Expression window is already open and is not minimized.
