Plans

Each campaign has a single plan file, which defines the logic shared by all campaign components. You can either upload a standalone plan file to uProduce, or upload a Campaign Package (CPKG file) that contains a plan file.

To modify the uploaded plan file, or use a different plan file, use the Check In and Check Out feature.

Upload a campaign plan

A campaign plan includes the database schema and ADOR objects. The plan is created using the uPlan application. For each campaign, you can only assign a single plan. For more information on working with uPlan, see the uPlan Help.

To upload a plan file to a campaign:

1. Go to the Campaigns page and select the campaign to which you wish to upload a plan file.

2. In the campaign tree, click plan to display the plan page.

3. Click the Upload button.

   The Plan Upload dialog is displayed.

4. Enter the path to the plan file, or click the Browse... button to locate the file.

5. Click Save to upload the plan.

   A progress indicator is displayed. At the end of the upload process, the plan information is displayed in the plan page.

Download the plan file

To download the plan file:

1. Go to the campaigns page and select the campaign from which you wish to download the plan file.

2. In the campaign tree, click plan to display the plan page.

3. Click the plan name.

4. Click the Download button.

   The File Download dialog is displayed, prompting you to open or save the file.

5. Click Save and then select the location to which you want to save the file. A message is displayed, notifying you when the download is complete. At this point you can choose to either Open the file for modification or Close the File Download dialog.
