Tracking

Tracking is a method of collecting campaign information that allows you to look across your campaign results in a holistic manner. By tracking your campaign, you can analyze and measure the results of your campaign while it is still in progress, create reports that integrate the results into high-quality, meaningful data and immediately use your conclusions to refine the campaign’s relevancy and improve its performance.

Option

Description

Activate Tracking

Enables the Tracking section, which allows you to record campaign events.

Touchpoint

Select a touchpoint in the dropdown list. A touchpoint must be selected to activate tracking.

A "Touchpoint" is the marketing action of interacting with a recipient. A print-piece with a flyer and a letter would be a single Touchpoint, as it represents a single interaction with the recipient. Formally, a touchpoint is a collection of events. It's a grouping of events that together makes sense for a Marketer. For example: "Follow-up" or "Thank You message", are touchpoints that consist of a single event, whereas "email-interaction" maybe a Touchpoint that consists of two separate events, namely "sent-email"; "email-opened"

New

Launches the New Touchpoint window, which allows you to define a new touchpoint and associate it with this job.

Configure Campaign Tracking

Allows you to configure the campaign tracking, by setting up a list of ADOR objects whose values are to be tracked (the Track ADOR Values list).

  • If you have already configured this list, you may use the current settings.

  • If you have not configured tracking yet, or wish to edit the Track ADOR Values list, click Configure Campaign Tracking and set up the Configure Campaign Tracked ADORs window.

Note: If you save your production settings as a template, the parameters of this section will not be included in the template since they are campaign-specific.
