Setting Up the Message Template SQL Table

Note: This table is not available for StoreFlow Cloud customers.

The Message Template SQL table is set to support the creation of email message templates. SQL queries are used to generate XML code that is, in turn, used by the XSL to create a message in HTML format.

To set up a new message template SQL table:

1.       In the Presets view, click System Setup.

2.       In the System Setup list, click Message Template SQL.

3.       Click the Add New button.

4.       Fill in the following fields:

–      Message Template Id: ID number of the message template associated with this SQL.

–      SQL Text: SQL statement. The SQL may use parameters as specified in SQL Examples.

–      Name: Node name in the XML file that will be generated. The node name must be unique per message template.

5.       Click Save.
