Content Generation service

Whether you want to personalize your communication, scale your marketing automation, or simply impress your customers, using the Content generation service you can inject personalized assets into all your communications, on demand.

Using the Content generation service APIs, you can generate and present dynamic personalized content in any 3rd party application. In this way you can leverage all your organization’s current systems (CRM, DAM, etc.).

Getting started with the Content Generation Service

The Personalia workflow can be summarized in this three-step process:

Prerequisites

A prerequisite to success with the Content generation service is:

Find a graphic designer who is familiar with InDesign.

Find a developer who can use the Personalia APIs and integrate your designs into any 3rd party system.

Contact support@Personalia.io and purchase the Content generation service.

Step 1: uCreate

1.         Your designer downloads uCreate (v12.1 or later), the InDesign plugin from XMPie.

2.       The designer then tags the InDesign design with personalization variations.

3.       The designer exports it as templates to be used within Personalia (see Templates and CPKGs).

Step 2: Personalia dashboard

1.         Sign into Personalia.io (the Personalia dashboard) and preview the sample templates found in the dashboard.

2.       You upload and preview your Personalia templates in the Personalia dashboard.

Step 3: Integrate

Your developer experiments with the Personalia API using sample templates found in the dashboard and then with your designer’s templates which you previously uploaded.

Content on demand

Using the content on demand feature can be useful when sending personalized coupons, personalized brochures etc., where the URL is embedded (e.g., in an email). Clicking the link triggers content generation.

In situations where content is sent to the end-user, there are cost advantages in using this feature as charges for content generation are incurred solely for the clicked links.
