Generating a Proof Set Batch

You can generate a batch of proof sets, where each proof set contains a specific number of records. For example, if you have a total of 500 records, you can specify that you wish to generate batches of 100 records. In this case, uPlan will create a set of five separate proof files, where each proof set includes the values for 100 records.

To generate a proof set batch:

  1. From the Data menu, select the Generate Proof Set Batch option.

The Batch Proof Set Generation dialog is displayed.

  2. If you select the Table option, choose a table from the drop-down list. Alternatively, select the Filter option and choose a recipient filter from the drop-down list.

  3. Under Range, select All to create a proof set for all records.

Alternatively, enter a range using the From and To fields.

  4. Under Output, enter the name of the proof set and set the number of records you wish to process for the each proof set in the batch.

  5. Click Generate to create the proof set batch. You will be prompted to select the location of an empty folder that will be used to save the proof sets.

  6. Enter a location for the batch proof files and click Save.

A progress bar displays the current status of your proof set generation.

  7. You can view the proof set batches at the end of the process by double-clicking the appropriate Double click to view link from the Output pane.

The Proof Set Viewer opens to display the generated data.
