Uploading a campaign package

A campaign package file (*.cpkg) contains an aggregate of project components and includes the following:

  • Document

  • Assets

  • Fonts

  • Data source

  • Plan file

Using the Getting Started wizard, you can upload a campaign package to the library in the uProduce system. Using the Getting Started wizard is the only opportunity to upload a .cpkg file. The alternative is to use one of the other upload options in the wizard or upload each component manually either through the wizard or from the library.

To upload a campaign package:

  1. In the Get started: Choose an Option dialog box, click Upload a Campaign Package File (*.cpkg).

The Upload Campaign window is displayed.

  2. Click the Browse button and select a *.cpkg file.

  3. Click Upload.

The system starts uploading the file. Once the process is completed, the Upload Campaign: Done window is displayed:

  4. Click Close to exit the Getting Started wizard.

The Data Source pane is displayed.

  5. Set up your data source parameters, as follows:

    • If the *.cpkg file contains no data source, upload a new data source (see Uploading a file-based data source to the library)

    • If the *.cpkg  file contains one data source, select a Recipient Table.

    • If the *.cpkg file contains multiple data sources, first choose the Recipient data source from the Data Source dropdown list in the Recipient List section  and then select a Recipient Table.

    • If the plan included in the *.cpkg file contains additional data sources, then select the data source files matching the additional data sources in the plan file.

  6. Click Save.
