Creating a uImage Template in Photoshop

Creating a uImage template using Photoshop consists of the following procedures:

Once your template is ready, pack the template along with all uImage effect components (fonts, assets etc.) into a single DPKG file. The DPKG also defines various settings such as Copy Fitting and Optimization. See Saving a uImage Template as an XMPie Document Package (DPKG).

After saving the template, use it to generate personalized images via XMPie VDP applications: uPlan, uCreate Print or uProduce.

If the area of personalization is only a small part of the whole template, you can significantly improve performance using uImage's Optimize feature. This feature allows you to process only the variable section instead of the whole template. For detailed information on the optimization options, see uImage Optimize Feature.
