Getting Started with uCreate

The uCreate Print plugin enables you to create dynamic documents, by tagging static design objects (for example, a graphic frame, a string of text, etc.) with variables known as content objects. Content objects are automatically created by uCreate Print and displayed in the Dynamic Content panel when you link your InDesign document with the campaign logic.

Follow this basic workflow when starting to work with uCreate Print:

  1. Open a new or existing InDesign document.

  2. Display the Dynamic Content panel (if not shown).

  3. Set the input data.

  4. Tag design objects with content objects.

  5. Creating a Print File of a Dynamic Document

Once these operations are performed, you can go on to perform more advanced operations, such as manually managing content objects, working with audiences and generating the print output file.
