Setting Up Recipients

Setting up recipients is available for dynamic, email, XM campaign and composite products when Use Recipients List is selected during set up of the product. For composite products, the recipient list is created online after all the components have been added.

Internal use fields

There are two scenarios where you may want to hide several recipient list fields from the shopper:

  • XM campaign products which have a web touchpoint with a form, where the information filled in the form is mapped to recipient list fields.
    These fields are usually not a part of the recipient data, hence the shopper does not need to see and fill them in during the shopping process.

  • Dynamic products where the fulfilment workflow involves downloading the recipient list and adding extra fields to it, such as mail sort barcode. In such products you may want to hide these extra fields from the shopper.

You can hide recipient fields from the shopper by marking them for internal use in uPlan.

The shopper will see them only in the storefront's Order History page, when downloading the recipient list which will include the form information filled in by the recipients.
